The Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper has hand sketches birds, which allows you to make cards with very little effort. Just let the Designer Series Paper do all the work. Today’s card is a great example of how you can get a stunning card by making the highlight the paper.
I started with a piece of Early Espresso Card Stock that measured 5 1/2″ x 11″. Along the 11″ side, I scored at 1 3/4″ 3 1/2″ 5 1/4″ and 7″.
I cut two pieces of the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. One measured 3 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ the other 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4 from one pattern of the paper. Next I took another pattern of paper, and cut 3 pieces that measured 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″.
The five layering pieces where die-cut using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, along with the Countryside Corners Dies. These dies are such good layering dies and perfect for this Accordion Fold Card. The highlight of the card are the little birds all cut out of the Designer Series Paper. Now watch the video to see how easy this card goes together.
