Did you join the We BEE Stamping Blog Hop last Sunday? We shared our favorite new things from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. Well I shared different ways to get color from the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape. If you missed that post you can view here.
Today’s card is so simple. I just applied the Washi Tape directly to my Basic White Card Stock. Next, I used the new Embossing Folder Damask Designs to emboss it. The little flower at the bottom was the Washi Tape adhered to the Basic White Card Stock and then die-cut with the Extraordinary Flora Die. I found when die-cutting the tape, it is best to use painter’s tape or Post-it adhesive roll. This card is so elegant with the added sentiment from the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set, an Online Exclusive, and the Brush Brass Butterflies.
At first when I started to use this tape, I had some challenges. So I wanted to share some tips & tricks I learned along the way. First be careful not to touch the back of the tape too much with your fingers, as it won’t stick as well.
Second, pull the tape off the roll slowly and evenly. If you pull it too fast you can ripe it. The pattern repeats itself twice, the same length as the die. The colors included on the tape are: Berry Burst, Coastal Cabana, Darling Duckling, Flirty Flamingo, Lost Lagoon, Old Olive, Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink, Shaded Sprue and finally Strawberry Slush.
When adding a backing to the tape be careful, as it can wrinkles easily. I found when using Window Sheet for my backing it was easier to pull off and smooth out.
The best tip if your tape has wrinkles is to use a embossing folder. This adds character to the tape and hides the wrinkles.
There is 10 yards of tape to the roll, so there is plenty to play with and make lots of cards.
Now go experiment with this fun new product.

This card is absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing:)
