Thanks for joining our Blog Hop, as we focus on Fun Folds. I love Fun Folds and normally do a Fun Fold Video every Tuesday. Unfortunately life has been challenging lately, and I am not doing videos right now. I’m trusting though it won’t be long until I will be able to get back to it, so stay tuned. So I decided to share a simple Fun Fold with a center opening.

Since select 2025-2027 In Color Products will be on sale at a 15% discount starting on August 5th, I decided to use the In Color Designer Series Paper for my card. An added bonus if you live in select states during this sale, there will be a Sales Tax Holiday. In Ohio, that means ALL of the Annual Catalog, which means you could possibly save an additional 8% on these In Color Products. Check out the Sales Tax Tax Free Chart here.
I first took a piece of the Darling Duckling Designer Series Paper that measurers 4 1/8″ x 4 1/4″ and ran through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I then cut 7/8″ off each end of the 4 1/4″ side.
I took the remaining center piece, measuring 3 3/8″ x 4 1/8,” and lightly dragged my Versamark Ink Pad over the top of the Embossed Image, and poured White Embossing over the designer series paper from the Basics Embossing Powder Assortment. After heat setting this piece with my Heat Tool, I got a glossing highlight imagine for the center of my card.
For the card base, I used a piece of the Darling Duckling Card Stock that measured 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored it at 4 1/4″. Next I cut 1″ down to the score line on each end. This gave me a center-opening card. I glued down to to outside panels, and adhered the designer series paper to them. Here is the card open.

I even stamped the sentiment, from the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set, on the designer series paper, added some embellishments with the 2025-2027 Flat Pearls.
I so love how this card turned out, with the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder, my all time favorite Embossing Folder. Unfortunately this folder is currently out-of-stock, but Stampin’ Up! is expecting back inventory the week of August 11th.
Check out my Monthly Customer Appreciation Tutorial for this month, as I’m featuring this great folder with some other fun techniques.

Now let’s go check out what Fun Folds the other ladies are sharing. If you just buzzed over from Kim Baker’s post and need to get back, or if you want to keep buzzing by over to Lisa Brown’s post, click the buttons below!

Love the 3D Sunflower embossing folder! And White Embossing Powder… love that idea. Does not look like that in the photo at all. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Love this card, and I am so going to case. This .may be my favorite EF of the year.

I think it’s my favorite folder ever, but then I am a sunflower lover
