Sweet Bug Bundle

Bring your projects to life with the Sweet Bugs Bundle, filled with adorable garden bugs in a playful line-art style! These cute critters—ladybugs, butterflies, and more—are perfect for kids or kids at heart.

There are twenty-two dies in this bundle. Some of the dies are used to cut out stamped images and some just from the Cute As A Bug Designer Series Paper. Many of the dies are used for layering on top of one another, like the mushrooms. I found an easy way to die-cut and color these images. I cut out all the dies in Crumb Cake Card Stock. Then I used my Blending Brushes to color them in, but you could use your Stamin’ Blends too. This is so easy as you don’t have to have numerous colors of cardstock to die-cut.

I layered my bugs on Mossy Meadow Two-Tone Card Stock that had been embossed with the Stone And Vine 3D Embossing Folder. I used both sides of the cardstock to show off to the two-tones.

This Accordion Fold Card is perfect to show off not only the Sweet Bug Bundle, but also the beautiful Cute As A Bug Designer Series Paper. Did you notice the cute little Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes on the inside of the card? So adorable.

To make this card you need a piece of cardstock that measures 5 1/2′ x 8 1/2″. You will score on the 8 1/2 side at 3/4″ and at 4 1/4″. You will then put the cardstock in the trimmer on the 5 1/2″ side and at the 1/2″ mark and cut down to the 4 1/4″ mark (score line). You will fold mountain, valley on score lines and burnish with a bone folder. The second piece of this card measures 5″ x 6 1/4″ score along the 6 1/4″ side at 2 3/4″. Put cardstock in the trimmer on 5″ side at the 3/4″ mark and cut down to the 2 3/4″ mark or score line. Fold the second piece of cardstock at the score line, and burnish the edges with bone folder. Attach right edge of smaller cardstock panel to the 3/4″ section of the larger piece of cardstock. Making sure the cardstock edge does not overlap the score line.

The Cute As A Bug Designer Series Paper for this card are cut at:

  • 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
  • 2 1/2″ x 4″
  • Two-Tone Cardstock was also cut at 2 1/2″ x 4″ for the front
  • Basic White Cardstock for the inside for cut at 3 1/4″ 4″

Now it’s time to watch just how easy this card comes together.
