Double Gate Opening Card

2026-2028 Stampin' Up! In Colors· Fancy Fold Card Videos· May-August Stampin' Up Catalog

12 May
The Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper is perfect for this gate fold card
Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper

This double gate fold card is the perfect fun fold to show off the beauty of the Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper. I have been sharing this designer series paper several times since it became available the first of the month, in our May-August Catalog, but just the flower side of the paper. The card above uses the one of the reverse sides.

The card I do in today’s Fun Fold Video, I used the stripe side of this designer series paper with the same fold. In order to create a card like this, you need a neutral card base that measurers 5 1/4″ x 11″. You will score along the 11″ side at 1 3/4″ and 3 1/2″ from each end. You will need two pieces of card stock that measure 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and another piece that measurers 3″ x 4 1/4″ and one that is 1 1/2″ x 5″. You will need two pieces of designer series paper one measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″ and the other 1 1/4″ x 4 3/4″. The front panel that I stamped and decorated measurers 2 3/4″ x 4″.

I love to use my Stampin’ Blends in the New In Colors on this paper, as it looks nice with the black and white. I can’t wait to get my hands on the Shimmer Brushes in the In Colors found on page 77 in the new catalog. As demonstrators we are allowed to purchase items from a new catalog, before any one else, but the Glimmer Brushes were not available yet when we preordered. They are now, so I am waiting on them to arrive to give them a try.

Now sit back and see how easy this card goes together.
