Fancy Fold Card Videos· Stampin' Up! Sept-Dec Mini Catalog

Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper

Today I’m sharing another beautiful Accordion Fold Card, this time featuring the soft winter designs in the Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper.

This lovely card was created and shared by Leigh Amburgey during my recent card challenge. Leigh’s card inspired the Accordion Fold Card that I demonstrated for Tuesday’s Fun Fold video.

I love seeing how the same Fun Fold can take on a completely different personality simply by changing the Designer Series Paper, colors, and embellishments!

Watch Tuesday’s Fun Fold Video

Leigh Amburgey used the same cutting measurements that I shared in Tuesday’s Fun Fold tutorial. Watch the video to see how to cut, layer, and assemble the card, and then use Leigh’s beautiful winter version as inspiration.

Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper

The Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper features gentle watercolor designs in cool, winter-inspired colors.

The package includes 12 sheets—four each of three double-sided designs. Some sheets can be cut apart and used as card fronts, while the full-pattern sheets are wonderful for card layers, accents, scrapbook pages, and other paper crafts.

The coordinating colors include Azure Afternoon, Blueberry Bushel, Garden Green, Night of Navy, Pecan Pie, Pretty Peacock, and Shaded Spruce.

Supplies Used on Leigh’s Card

Leigh Amburgey stamped the “Holiday Wishes” greeting from the Soiree Salutations Stamp Set using the Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin’ Pad.

Her cardstock colors included:

  • White Willow Cardstock
  • Misty Moonlight Cardstock
  • Peaceful Pine Two-Tone Cardstock
  • Smoky Slate Cardstock

The trees from the new Christmas Crew Dies create the winter focal point on the front of the card. Leigh also used the Stylish Shapes Dies, Three Banner Punch, and 2″ Circle Punch to create the layered greeting.

For the finishing touches, she added snowy highlights and sparkle with the White Gel Pens and Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

The new Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes, available as an Online Exclusive, add the perfect bit of winter charm.

Lend a Helping Hand

The Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper is beautiful, but it also helps make a difference.

As part of Stampin’ Up!’s Lend a Helping Hand initiative, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 for every package of Whispering Woods Designer Series Paper purchased to organizations that help spread a little holiday cheer.

Small choices really can make a big difference. When you purchase this paper, you can create beautiful cards from the heart while helping bring cheer to others.

Thank you again to Leigh Amburgey for sharing this beautiful card and inspiring Tuesday’s Fun Fold project!

Be sure to join me again next Tuesday for another Fun Fold video.
