Today I’m sharing another version of the Open Bay Window Fun Fold—and I love how completely different it looks just by changing the paper and embellishments!
I shared the complete measurements and assembly instructions for this fold last week, so I won’t repeat them here.

For today’s card, I started with a Very Vanilla Cardstock base. The rich brown panels are from the Radiant Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. The subtle patterns and Pecan Pie foil accents give this card plenty of interest without making the design feel too busy.
The flowers were created with the Radiant Sunflowers Bundle. Instead of stamping and coloring the large sunflower, I simply die cut it directly from the Radiant Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. That is such an easy way to create a coordinated flower with beautiful detail already built in!
I added coordinating foil accents to the flower center and leaves, bringing even more shine to the finished card. The decorative circle from the Framed & Fabulous Hot Foil Dies provides the perfect place for the “Hello, Friend” greeting.
The open center and dimensional flower arrangement make this fold look impressive, but once you understand the construction, it is much easier than it appears.
That is one of the things I love about fun folds—the same measurements can create an entirely new card simply by changing the paper, colors, and focal pieces.
I hope this version inspires you to revisit a favorite fold and give it a fresh new look!
